At Second, "family" means everyone! Whether single or married, young or not so young, everyone is part of this great Presbyterian "clan" known as Second Church. We belong to each other, so we "break bread." We encourage each other, care for one another, offer hospitality and above all love one another.

Small Group Fellowship Programs

Note:For details on the current activities planned for each of the following groups, see the Calendar.

YAG - the Young Adult Group Church School class plans fellowship and service projects once a month. Activities vary from bowling, to participating in the Hunger Walk, to cookouts at members' homes. The group targets singles and couples who are in their mid-twenties to early thirties.

Seekers - beyond meeting on Sunday mornings, the Seekers Sunday School class sponsors quarterly fellowship events. The Seekers group is primarily made up of adults with young children.

Pathways - the focus is on parents of teen age and college age children. They too meet quarterly for fellowship activities, usually in members' homes.

LAFF - the Life After Fifty Five group is one of the most active and largest of our fellowship groups. Their activities vary from potluck dinners, to special programs, to the Sunday lunch bunch, to day trips in the area.

Supper Groups - provide a way to get to know other members of the church in small group settings. Each Supper Group is made up of eight individuals, both singles and couples, and includes a variety of ages, interests, and professions. The Supper Groups meet monthly for potluck dinners in each other's homes with each individual or couple agreeing to host one evening during the four month rotation. The Supper Groups run on a seasonal schedule (October - March and April - August).
