The strength of a congregation's life is measured by how it reaches out to serve the people like Christ served in our own community and in the world.

The pastors and program directors are the support staff, the Session and other leaders provide the direction and guidance, but every member is a minister of Christ. Through the grace of God and with the generous gifts of time and talents by so many individuals at our church, we offer the ministries to the people who worship and learn among us, and to the people who live beyond us.

"Serving Christ" means being out in the community and in the world doing the work of Christ's love like he did. We help the less fortunate, and we work with agencies in our city and region that help them. We want to spread the Good News, and we reach out to other countries by supporting missionaries, ministries and mission trips. We are part of a "larger church" with great history, resources and people, and we connect to the Presbyterian Church (USA) to do Worldwide Ministries.
