Encouraging Children to know and experience the God of Wonder. At Second, we hope the most important choice is a parent's commitment to make Jesus Christ the center of family life. When weekly worship and church school a family priority, parents connect children regularly to lessons in how "Jesus loves me" and everyone. In baptisms, the congregation takes each child into the church family. Parents surround their children with a larger spiritual family who promise to raise all the church's children in Christ' love. Our Sunday morning ministry is a place where children feel safe and loved. We surround them with familiar faces and teach them about God in a vibrant, creative way. Church is not just another "thing to do;" it is the most important thing we as a parents can do for our children. Children's Ministries Mission Statement We are committed to providing a Biblically based foundation, offering children the necessary building blocks for spiritual growth and a life-long relationship with Jesus Christ. Our teachers are mentors who provide a safe, nurturing environment where fun, worship, mission and fellowship are experienced. We recognize that parents are a child’s primary spiritual educator and we are dedicated to a partnership with families in raising their children in the Christian faith.
